The Tarvaris Jackson era with the Seattle Seahawks could be reaching a sudden end. Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that, barring injuries to their top two quarterbacks in Matt Flynn and Russell Wilson, the Seahawks will trade Jackson after their next preseason game on Friday.
There are a couple of teams interested in Jackson. The Green Bay Packers have expressed interest with Graham Harrell being the only backup to Aaron Rodgers. The Miami Dolphins are rather limited on their depth with David Garrard getting injured, leaving Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore jostling for position. The Minnesota Vikings have Joe Webb backing up Christian Ponder but not much else behind him, and former Seahawk Charlie Whitehurst seems like the only plausible replacement for Philip Rivers on the San Diego Chargers.
There do appear to be bidders for Tarvaris, so the Seahawks are looking to sell when the market is hot for grabbing him.
