As the start of the college football season is right around the corner, the Washington Huskies unfortunately had to dismiss a pair of players on Thursday as Josh Perkins and Willis Wilson are no longer on the team for breaking team rules.
Per Sports Radio KJR's Curtis Crabtree via Twitter:
Washington announces Josh Perkins and Willis Wilson have been dismissed from the team for violating team rules.— Curtis Crabtree (@Curtis_Crabtree) August 16, 2012
Perkins, a red shirt freshman out of Cerritos, CA never got a chance to showcase his halfback skills with the Huskies seeing that he didn't play last season. As for Wilson, he was a walk-on running back out of Lakes High School, and was seen as the No. 4 RB on the depth chart.
