Seattle Seahawks Depth Chart 2012: Matt Flynn To Start Again Over Russell Wilson

Matt Flynn and Russell Wilson have distanced themselves from Tarvaris Jackson in the QB battle, and other movement in the Seahawks' depth chart.

The three-way quarterback competition is down to two already in Seahawks camp, with reports surfacing that Tarvaris Jackson could be traded after the preseason game this weekend against the Denver Broncos, but the two left in the competition are in the same order as before, with Matt Flynn starting the first half and Russell Wilson the second.

Sidney Rice returned to contact drills this week but likely won't see game action — wide receiver Doug Baldwin is in the same boat, it appears — so the door could be open for vets like Braylon Edwards, Ben Obamanu, who has started in place of Rice, and Terrell Owens (please save the opinion for the comments section).

Elsewhere, not much has changed from what is expected. First-round pick Bruce Irvin is still below Chris Clemons at defensive end, Marcus Trufant appears set as the nickel back behind Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner, and a healthy Russell Okung is where he should be: written in ink at the starting left tackle position.
