Mariners vs. Rays Starting Lineups: Justin Smoak Unfortunately Back In the Lineup

Justin Smoak is back in the starting line-up for better or for worse as Mike Carp was sent back to the DL with a strained groin. Smoak was optioned down to AAA Tacoma on July 24th after a 16 at-bat hitless streak brought his OPS to a paltry .573.

Smoak wasn't exactly lighting up AAA pitching, only going .242/.390/.364 in 20 games, but the increase on the OBP and reports of a tweaked swing leave some hope left in Smoak - or something like that.
