PGA Championship 2012 Scores And Results: Round 3 Suspended Due To Weather As Tiger Woods Struggles Early

Round 3 of the 2012 PGA Championship has been suspended due to thunderstorms and will resume Sunday morning. Play was suspended with the leaders just approaching the midpoint of the course, and the way things currently stand Vijay Singh and Rory McIlroy are tied for the lead. Tiger Woods and Carl Pettersson, both of whom opened the day tied with Singh for the lead, slipped in the rankings.

Pettersson fared better than Woods, shooting an even par through eight and sitting at 4-under, good for fourth place. Woods collected three bogeys in the first seven holes, leaving him 1-under overall and tied for 11th place. Bo Van Pelt was one of the big risers in Round 3, he moved 19 spots up the leaderboard with a score of 5-under in Round 3, leaving him ties for fifth place at 3-under overall.

Round 3 will resume at 4:45 a.m. PT. The final round is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. PT. There's plenty of golf left to play, so things are far from settled at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island. For a live leaderboard, check out Golf.com.
