There has been a lot of movement on the leaderboard during the third round of the 2012 PGA Championship. While the co-leaders are not teeing off for another half-hour or so, many have played well enough today to put themselves in contention for a major championship with just one round left to play.
Bo Van Pelt has started his day very well, shooting a -4 through the first eight holes of the day. He's now at -2 in the tournament, which is good for a fifth-place tie and only two strokes back of the leaders. Padraig Harrington has also shot four-under after eight holes, tying him with Van Pelt on the leaderboard.
Steve Striker birdied four of his final five shots on the front-nine to move himself into the top-10 earlier in the day, but he has since shot a +1 and is now at one-under for the event. Justin Rose also started out strong but faltered late; he birdied five of his first ten holes, but has bogeyed twice since then to drop him to +1 overall.
