2012 Olympics, Women's 4x100M Final: Americans Win Gold Medal With New World Record

The United States Olympic team looks to close out the 2012 London Olympic games on a high note and started Friday on the right track (get it?) by winning gold in the Women's 4x100M Final. The U.S. team was made up of Tianna Madison, Bianca Knight, Allyson Felix and anchor Carmelita Jeter, and they led the United States to the gold medal while setting a new world record with a time of 40.82 seconds.

Jamaica finished 2nd to win the silver medal, with a time of 41.41, while the team from the Ukraine would take home the bronze with a time of 42.04.
