Wimbledon Finals 2012: Serena Williams Wins Title In Three Sets

Saturday wrapped up what had been a phenomenal 2012 Wimbledon tournament, and it was Serena Williams who came out on top. Williams battled through the competition and defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in three sets to claim her fifth championship at Wimbledon.

Williams won the first set 6-1, using a strong serve and backhand to totally dominate Radwanska. Just when Williams had all of the momentum it was Radwanska who came back strong, winning the second set 7-5 to force a third and final set to determine a champion.

Serena won the set 6-2, winning her fifth title in six tries at Wimbledon. It was truly a great match for one of the best of all time.

The men's championship will be played on Sunday. It'll be Roger Federer vs. Andy Murray.
