Klay Thompson returned to Eastern Washington last Saturday to participate in Jamal Crawford's A Plus Classic at Spokane Arena. Thompson joined several other NBA players to help raise money for the Seattle-based A Plus Youth Program.
The former Washington St. Cougar averaged 12.5 points per game and shot 44.3 percent from the field in his rookie season with the Golden State Warriors. SB Nation Seattle interviewed Thompson to get his thoughts on Brandon Roy's comeback, the top shooters in the NBA and making adjustments from the college to the professional level.
