ESPN Magazine recently released their annual body issue, a pictorial celebration to the freakishly fine-tuned bodies of athletes from all spectrums of sports. It seems only fair that Sounders Women FC star and Olympian Alex Morgan is the number one seed, and like all good number one seeds, Morgan has made it to the final of the bracket.
↵Morgan is going against Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin for the very official title of Most Awesome Body In Sports. To make it as far as she has, Morgan has had to beat athletic slobs such as MMA fighter Ronda Rousey, Olympic beach volleyball player Misty May Treanor, and surfer Anastasia Ashley. Morgan, at a mere 22 years old, probably figures to be in quite a few Most Awesome Body In Sports tournaments for years to come.
↵The Sounders Women currently sit comfortably in second in the West Division with 31 points, behind the Pali Blues at 40 points.
