While the top three spots in the overall 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings will remain the same following Sunday's Lenox Industiral Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, another Washington native moved into contention for the sport's top prize.
Kasey Kahne finally finished turning around his season after a horrific start and is now poised to gain a Wild Card berth for the Chase for the Cup after taking the checkered flag on Sunday. Kahne edged out Denny Hamlin to pick up his second win of the year. Greg Biffle finished in ninth place to remain third in the overall Sprint Cup standings.
