2012 College World Series: Oregon Advances, Oregon St. In Losers Bracket

The state of Oregon is representing itself incredibly well at the 2012 College World Series as the ORegon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers have continued to fight their way through their respective regionals, keeping their College World Series hopes alive with some important matchups this Sunday.

After taking care of Austin Peay and Fullerton in their first two games of the Eugene Regional, the Ducks find themselves waiting for their opponent in the final as the two teams they have already beaten (Austin Peay and Fullerton) will battle it out to face Oregon in the final this evening at 4 p.m. PT.

As for the Beavers, they lost LSU in their last game so are in the loser's bracket against Louisiana-Monroe. If Oregon State can advance they will take on LSU once more, and if can win there will force a decisive game seven to be played on Monday night.
