The 2012 Olympics in London are quickly approaching. Through July 7, there will be a number of U.S. athletes attempting to punch their ticket to the Summer Games. The track and field Olympic trials are currently underway in Eugene, OR, but the trials for the U.S. diving team are being held in Seattle through Sunday.
The Seattle Times reports that the men's and women's platform synchro teams have been set for the U.S. diving team. On Thursday, Nick McCrory and David Boudia won the 10-meter platform synchro final and will be heading to London, while Abby Johnston and Kelci Bryant prevailed in the women's 3-meter springboard synchro event.
CBS Seattle reports that Boudia also leads the solo 10-meter men's competition and will hope to be representing the U.S. on his own in the solo event by the time the trials end on Sunday.
