Memphis Transfer Drew Barham Heading to Gonzaga

Drew Barham will transfer from the Memphis Tigers to the Gonzaga Bulldogs after three years of playing basketball. The 6-7 guard/forward left the Tigers in a search for more minutes. Barham appeared in 27 games as a sophomore in 2010-11 but then redshirted last year when Memphis became quite crowded at the wing position.

"Memphis is still my city. I still love it here, but circumstances have me moving on," said Barham, who has two years of eligibility at Gonzaga.

Barham will be able to play immediately since he redshirted last year. Barham is the second player to transfer to Gonzaga this year, following Providence's Gerald Coleman who will have to sit out this upcoming season. Recently, the Bulldogs have seen an exo

dus of players with Mathis Keita, Mathis Monninghoff, and Kyle Spangler all leaving the program for various reasons.
