Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch Named As RB Who Could Lead Playoff Push

Steve Wyche of NFL.com has a rundown of five running backs who could lead their teams to the playoffs, and one of the backs featured is the Seattle Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch. Wyche concedes that the Seahawks have concerns at QB, but concludes:

Every opponent knows slowing Lynch is the first priority, but that was the case last season, too. If the quarterback play improves moderately, more opportunities could open up for Lynch and he could be even more productive.

More on Lynch and the Seahawks after the jump.

Lynch ran for 1,204 yards with 4.2 yards per carry, racking up 12 touchdowns. The Seahawks drafted QB Russell Wilson in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, but it remains to be seen whether he, Tavaris Jackson, or Matt Flynn will start. Whoever the starter is, they'll surely be taking full advantage of Lynch's abilities as the team looks to improve on 2011's 7-9 record.
