Seattle 5, Cleveland 6 [box]: Brandon League blew his second save of the season to the Cleveland Indians, giving up two runs in the bottom of the 11th evening. The Mariners led 4-0 heading into the seventh inning, but the Indians rallied for four runs of their own in the seventh and eighth innings, forcing the game into extra innings. Dustin Ackley extended his hitting streak to 13 games, but neither him nor any other Mariners are hitting at or above .300 yet.
