The 2012 Players Championship has been great thus far, filled with plenty of movement up and down the leaderboard. Saturday marked the beginning of the third round, and there have already been some big surges and big letdowns as the leaders begin to tee off.
Rickie Fowler has been the story so far, shooting -6 through 13 holes. The young up-and-comer has six birdies and no bogies so far, moving him into a tie for first place at nine-under par. Kevin Na was among the three leaders entering Saturday and just began his third round, although he is off to a strong start at one-under through three holes. Matt Kuchar is even through four holes and is sitting in second place at -8.
Looking for some of the bigger names in the field? Tiger Woods is at -2 for the tournament after shooting an even par on Saturday. Phil Mickelson is tied for 15th place at the moment at four-under. Rory McIlroy failed to make the cut for the third straight year on Friday.
