Fred Couples has emerged as a frontrunner in the 2012 Masters in Augusta. Heading in to round three on Saturday, Couples shares the lead with Jason Dufner at 5-under. Couples will attempt to win his second Masters in his 28th appearance in the event. Couples' win in 1992 was the only major tournament win of his storied career to date.
Couples and Dufner will be paired together and will tee off last on Saturday. They'll both be trying to fend off a host of strong golfers in hot pursuit, including Rory McIlroy, who is only a stroke off the lead. Oregon's Ben Crane is still in the hunt as well. Phil Mickelson is 2-under, while Tiger Woods is 3-over and on the ropes after Friday.
