With the 19th pick of the 5th round in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks have selected Korey Toomer, a outside linebacker from University of Idaho. Toomer didn't get an invite to the Combine, but he ran a 4.53 second 40 and launched a 42-inch vertical on Idaho's pro day to get the scouts attention. Toomer missed 2010 because of injury and made his 2011 worth it - playing two linebacker spots, defensive end, and even a few snaps at fullback resulting in a second team All-WAC conference pick.

Here is more on Korey Toomer from Sports Illustrated.

Athletic linebacker with tremendous upside. Fluid and smooth moving in every direction of the field, quickly changes direction and covers a lot of area. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and displays the ability to get through blocks and make plays up the field. Remains disciplined with assignments, recognizes coverage responsibilities and can run downfield with tight ends. Solid open-field tackler who effectively makes plays in space.

The Seahawks' next pick is the 2nd selection of the 6th round, 172 overall. Head over to NFL.com to track every pick as the Draft moves on.
