On Sunday, Washington native Greg Biffle will attempt to keep some distance between himself and the rest of the field. He'll try to emerge from the STP 400 at Kansas Speedway still the overall points leader in the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
Biffle currently leads all drivers, although Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. are in second and third place, respectively. Biffle's No. 17 start in the lineup on Sunday leaves something to be desired, although Kenseth is slotted in at No. 18. Fellow Washontonian Kasey Kahne has a much better positioning, at No. 9. Kahne will be trying to build on last week's No. 7 finish and jump up several more spots following a disastrous start to the season.
The green flag will drop on Sunday at 10:16 a.m. ET, so get to your television early if you want to catch this one. The race will be televised on FOX.
