Seattle Seahawks 2012 Schedule: Early Home Games With Cowboys, Packers Headline Schedule

The Seattle Seahawks had their official schedule for the 2012 season released on Tuesday night. The consensus among most Hawks fans is that the team has a brutal stretch early in the year, but they should make their move late in the playoff run as the schedule softens up. Divisional games within the NFC West are always huge, so let's take a look at a few others games that are sure to be big.

Week 2 vs. Cowboys: Tony Romo and the 'Boys will make their way to Seattle in week two which is sure to be a great game. Dallas fans travel extremely well and always create a unique environment on the road, and you can bet the Seahawks will want to make an early statement against one of the more talented teams in the NFC.

Week 3 vs. Packers: These two teams will meet on Monday Night Football in week 3 in what is sure to be an entertaining primetime game. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are a well-oiled machine offensively and their defense isn't too shabby either. The Seahawks are going to have to play at the top of their game if they hope to have a shot in this one.

Week 6 vs. Patriots: The runners up from the 2012 Super Bowl will make their way to Seattle this season, and you can bet they'll be a team on a mission after coming up just short of a championship. Tom Brady is getting older but is still a master on the field, and you know head coach Bill Belichick is going to have his team ready to go.

Week 10 vs. Jets: It's Tebow Time in Seattle! I know you're excited for the 4,087 hours of coverage SportsCenter will be giving this game, right?
