The Final Four games in the 2012 NCAA Tournament were held in New Orleans on Saturday. When all was said and done, the national championship game was set and only two teams remained in the penultimate night of action in March Madness.
In the first of the two games, the overall No. 1 seed Kentucky Wildcats were able to hold off their in-state rivals the Louisville Cardinals, picking up the win by a final score of 69-61.
In the nightcap, a spectacular game broke out between No. 2 seeds the Ohio St. Buckeyes and the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks scored the first basket of the game and then fell behind for nearly the balance of play, coming from behind in the final minutes to pick up the 64-62 win and advance to the national championship game.
The final battle for the national title will tip off on Monday night in New Orleans.
