206 Clicks: Huskies On The Bubble, These Teams Losing Will Help Tournament Chances

  • Pac 12 Tournament Bracket, Quarterfinals 2012: Arizona Knocks Off UCLA--After Thursday's disappointing loss to the Oregon State Beavers, Washington has to wait three days to find out whether they'll be playing a meaningful game next week. All Husky fans need to be cheering for California to win the Pac-12 tournament. The Pac-12 at this point looks like a two-bid league, someone other than California getting the automatic bid hurts the Huskies' chances. ESPN's Joe Lundari has Washington as one of the last four teams in. Other bubble teams still in action? Texas, Tennessee, NC State, Arizona, Saint Joseph's. If you're a Husky fan, here's your rooting interest for Friday:
  1. Need Oregon State to beat Arizona in the Pac-12 semifinals.
  2. Need Missouri to beat Texas in the Big-12 semifinals.
  3. Need Ole Miss to beat Tennessee in the SEC quarterfinals.
  4. Need Maryland to beat NC State in ACC quarterfinals.
  5. Need Saint Bonaventure to beat Saint Joseph's in the Atlantic-10 quarterfinals.
  6. All consensus-tournament teams/favorites need to win out.
