Round one of the Pac-12 tournament is finished. Here's some reaction from the SB Nation network readers of Oregon State's 69-64 quarterfinal victory over Washington State on Wednesday:
Oregon State 69, Washington State 64
Frustrating at times, of course, but a win is a win and we are advancing. If we are to beat Washington, we have to get better performances from our guards. Our guards as a group averaged 3.8 points, and that’s just not good enough. But hey, I’m thrilled with this victory. This should at least get us in talks for the NIT, and a win tomorrow should put us right on the bubble. --(Via: Building the Dam commenter, ConnorOSU)
Down 3 with a little over a minute. Miss 2 free throws. Give up an easy 2 with less than a minute. Go down the court and dribble and pass aimlessly wasting time only to have Reggie chuck up a contested three and miss?
Yeah me too. Thank goodness that season is over. (Via: CougCenter commenter, ttclaus)
The Beavers will face the No. 1 seed Washington Huskies at 12 p.m. on Thursday at the Staples Center. ROOT Sports will be televising the game.
