Pac-12 Tournament: Oregon, Oregon State Pick Up Season Finale Victories

Both Pac-12 Oregon schools ended their regular season on a winning note with big home wins on Saturday. The Oregon Ducks fairly whomped on the Utah Utes en route to a 94-48 victory, while the Oregon St. Beavers picked up a 83-69 win over the visiting Colorado Buffaloes.

The Ducks coasted to a victory after opening up a 34-2 lead over the Utes in the first half. Devoe Joseph led all scorers with 21 points for Oregon, while E.J. Singler picked up a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Beavers also had little trouble dispatching the Buffaloes and outscored Colorado by 11 points in the second half. Ahmad Starks led scorers with 18 points, while his OSU teammate Roberto Nelson, added 16 for the winning side.

Oregon will enter next week's Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 3 seed, no matter what happens with Cal vs. Stanford or Arizona vs. ASU on Sunday.

Oregon State finishes the season with a 7-11 conference record. Although Washington State also holds a 7-11 Pac-12 record, the Cougars hold a tiebreaker by winning both head-to-head games during the regular season. As a result, OSU will enter the tournament as the No. 9 seed.
