NIT Tournament 2012, Washington Vs. Minnesota: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Washington's quest for an NIT tournament championship continues on Tuesday night in the semifinals against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The two teams meet in the national spotlight at Madison Square Garden, a venue that the Huskies played two non-conference games in back in December.

The No. 1-seeded Huskies ripped off three straight victories at home and will be playing on a neutral court for the first time since its loss to Oregon State in the Pac-12 tournament on on March 8th.

If there were any doubt of the team's intentions or motivations entering Tuesday night's game, head coach Lorenzo Romar assured the media his team would be playing inspired:

"We are in New York, playing for a national championship in the NIT. Our guys are pretty excited," Washington coach Lorenzo Romar said. "We have a group of guys that are pretty competitive and were just able to turn the page." (Via: GoHuskies.com)
