The Daily 12-PAC: Oregon WR Pleads Not Guilty, Wazzu Kicks Off Spring Ball & More

Happy Friday, folks. In today's edition of The Daily 12-PAC we look at who ESPN calls UW's "most intriguing" spring prospect, an Oregon WR headed to court, Oregon State having some rivalry fun, and checking in on Washington State's first spring practice.

Pac-12's Most Intriguing Players This Spring

Ted Miller took to the ESPN PAC-12 blog to list the most intriguing players in the PAC-12 this spring from each school. The Washington representative was DT Danny Shelton. Here's what Miller had to say about him:

The 6-1, 334-pound sophomore looks like a nice fit at nose tackle if the Huskies move to a base 3-4 with new D-coordinator Justin Wilcox. But whatever the defense is, Shelton showed signs during his true freshman season that he can be an All-Pac-12 defensive lineman.

The bar is high for Shelton, and Husky fans should be confident that new DL coach Tosh Lupoi will be able to get the most out of him.

Oregon Ducks' Josh Huff Pleads Not Guilty

Another day, another legal update involving a football player from the state of Oregon. This time it's Oregon WR Josh Huff.

Huff pleaded not guilty to DUI charges stemming from his March 3 arrest. Huff's case will now go to trial, though no court date has been set at this time.

Video of Mike Leach's First Cougars Practice

KING 5's Chris Egan was on the scene in Pullman yesterday to cover Wazzu's first spring practice, and the first practice of the Mike Leach era.

In addition to tweeting photos all day yesterday, Egan shot this extended video of the practice session. Football is here y'all!

OSU Has Some Rivalry Fun

There's a famous at that the University of Oregon, that "it never rains at Autzen Stadium". However, our good friends at Building The Dam bring us this fun photo, that though it may never rain at Autzen, it definitely snows.

And Beavers love the snow. Check it out.
