The Gonzaga Bulldogs have their hands full with the Ohio St. Buckeyes, but some sharp-shooting and solid defense has the team within a few points at the half. The Bulldogs actually led most of the first half, but they fell asleep for a bit down the stretch and surrendered the lead in the closing seconds. At the break, Ohio State leads by a score of 39-37.

Elias Harris got off to a strong start in the half and has seven points at the break, but two fouls held him out for the final few minutes. Kevin Pangos has seven as well, although he struggled with his shot in the early going, making just one of his five attempts from behind the arc. Robert Sacre has five, but he, like Harris, also has two fouls. Gary Bell Jr. did a little bit of everything for the Zags, scoring three points, dishing out three assists and bringing down two rebounds.

Deshaun Thomas led all scores with 12 and scored 10 straight points for the Buckeyes at one point. Point guard Aaron Craft has 10 points and seven assists (seven in 20 minutes!), while All-American big man Jared Sullinger has eight points, two rebounds and two fouls.

The second half is about to get underway on CBS. Will the Bulldogs pull it together in the second half, or will the Buckeyes continue their run from the first half?
