NCAA Bracket 2012: Kentucky, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Michigan State Top Seeds In Each Region

Well ladies and gentlemen, your four No. 1 seeds are officially Kentucky, in the South Region, Syracuse in the East Region, North Carolina in the Midwest Region, and Michigan State out in the West.

The Kentucky Wildcats were named as the No. 1 seed overall after finishing 2012 with a 32-2 record, including a perfect 16-0 in the SEC. As noted above, the Syracuse Orange were named as the top seed in the East Bracket, following a successful regular season where they finished with a 31-2 overall record and were 17-1 in the Big East.

The North Carolina Tar Heels took the top seed in the Midwest Bracket after finishing 29-5, with a ACC record of 14-2. Finally, the Michigan St. Spartans took the No. 1 seed in the West Bracket after they went 27-7 overall, 13-5 in the Big Ten and captured their conference championship.
