The Gonzaga Bulldogs have been a fixture in the NCAA tournament for the last decade. Their journey to the No. 7 seed in the East Regional 2012 was no different.

The squad is led by their talented freshman Kevin Pangos, who was an excellent passer, shooter and solid point guard overall. Elias Harris and Robert Sacre provided the rebounding presence inside, with excellent support from Gary Bell and Sam Dower.

Gonzaga had only one bad loss at USF, but otherwise lost to all the teams they were expected to lose to, dropping road games to St. Mary's and BYU while losing a hard-fought home contest against Michigan State. Gonzaga had to play only two games in the WCC tournament (getting two byes), beating BYU decisively before falling to St. Mary's in overtime in the tournament championship game.

Gonzaga ends up with the 7th seed, and will play No. 10 West Virginia.
