Ladies and Gentlemen, hold on to your butts. Selection Sunday festivities are about to get underway on CBS. Beginning at 3 p.m, the NCAA Tournament bracket will be revealed, piece-by-piece, during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. The big questions on everyone's minds will be answered - which bubble teams are in? Will Washington be one of them? Where will the Gonzaga Bulldogs be seeded? Who will be this season's NCAA Tournament snubs? You must wait no longer; we shall find out soon on CBS.
Gonzaga is safely in the field after going 25-6 on the season and shouldn't have to worry much despite not winning the WCC Tournament for the first time in 11 seasons. Regardless, this will be their impressive 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid. Gonzaga is projected as a No. 11 seed in the tournament by most analysts.
The Washington Huskies, on the other hand, are sweating bullets Sunday as they await word on whether or not they managed to sneak into the tourney. The Huskies had an off season, playing poorly on the road and against RPI top-50 teams. They won the Pac-12 during the regular season but losses to UCLA and Oregon State to end their season don't leave a good taste in the selection committee's collective mouth. Man, that was a bad use of words. Regardless, we're about to find out whether the Dawgs' Pac-12 conference championship during the regular season is enough to buy them a Tournament berth.
Selection Sunday kicks off at 3 p.m. on CBS as the NCAA Tournament bracket is revealed to the world.
