WCC Tournament 2012: University of San Diego vs Pepperdine University

Game 3: 30 minutes after Game 2 - No. 6 San Diego Toreros vs. No. 7 Pepperdine Waves (BYUtv / ESPN3)

What to know: The two class rosters couldn't be much different - the Pepperdine Waves have nine upperclassman to the San Diego Toreros four. The San Diego Toreros are an undersized team that doesn't rebound very well and is led by its freshman back court of Johnny Dee and Christopher Anderson. The Pepperdine Waves are anchored by the two big men in the post Taylor Darby and Corbin Moore. The Pepperdine Waves aren't the best scoring team, and unfortunately when their offense fails them, their defense doesn't help out too much. Outside of an early win against the San Francisco Dons, the Pepperdine Waves only beat the bottom feeders in conference play.

Who will win: Although they are a tad bit small, the San Diego Toreros didn't have much trouble dispatching the Pepperdine Waves throughout conference play this year. The Toreros halfway ended the year on a nice point with a solid three point win at Loyola Marymount Lions, so expect the Toreros to advance to the BYU Cougars tomorrow night.
