Welcome to the Seattle SportsCast. It's a podcast. That I made. On it, I'm joined by Josh Lundgren, a seasoned pop culture podcaster, Mariners' expert/fan and trivia host, and Jacson Bevens, fellow writer at Field Gulls, here at SB Nation Seattle, and former Mariners' blogger over at MyNorthwest.com.
The Seattle SportsCast is a podcast dedicated to the Seahawks, Mariners, Huskies, some other sports, the Cougars? Maybe? The Blazers? Sometimes. The Sounders? A little? Whatever is going on, we'll talk about it. Even if we don't know much about it. But we mostly the Seahawks and Mariners, because those are the teams that we love.
In this episode, we talk about the Mariners and the big news lately that Ichiro will be moving to third in the batting order. We talk about his time in Japan batting third, his stance change, and Chone Figgin's attempted career revival this season.
We naturally get sidetracked with the Daytona 500 for a brief while because apparently it was a memorable one last night with many explosions and crashes and sex and violence?
We finish the podcast talking about the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft, as it pertains to the Seahawks. Give it a listen, you just may enjoy it.
You can also subscribe and listen to it at iTunes! (it should be available soon. Ish)
