UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz fight card

Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE

On Saturday, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will host UFC on FOX: Henderson vs. Diaz at the KeyArena in Seattle. As the name states, it will be broadcast live on the FOX network, and features possibly the most stacked main card the UFC has ever put on free TV.

The main event will see Nate Diaz of Stockton, Calif., challenge Benson Henderson for the Lightweight Championship. Henderson took the title from Frankie Edgar, and then successfully defended it in a rematch, while Diaz became the first person to ever stop Jim Miller inside the octagon with a rear naked choke at UFC on Fox 3 back in May.

The co-main event pits MMA legend Mauricio "Shogun" Rua against up-and-coming Swedish striker Alexander Gustafsson, in a fight that Dana White has declared a No. 1 contender bout for the Light Heavyweight Championship. Of course, White has gone back on his word in these situations numerous times, but that doesn't make the fight any less exciting from a stylistic standpoint.

Rounding out the main card is a fight between B.J. Penn and Rory MacDonald (a similar legend vs. up-and-comer fight) and a bout between two veterans in Mike Swick and Matt Brown. Below, we've got the full fight card.

Main Card:

Ben Henderson (17-2) vs. Nate Diaz (16-7) [LW Title]
Alexander Gustafsson (14-1) vs. Mauricio Rua (21-6)
Rory MacDonald (13-1) vs. B.J. Penn (16-8-2)
Matt Brown (15-11) vs. Mike Swick (15-4)

Preliminary Card:

Dennis Siver (20-8) vs. Nam Phan (18-10)
Scott Jorgensen (13-6) vs. John Albert (7-3)
Ramsey Nijem (6-2) vs. Joe Proctor (8-1)
Daron Cruickshank (11-2) vs. Henry Martinez (9-2)
Yves Edwards (41-18-1) vs. Jeremy Stephens (20-8)
Raphael Assuncao (17-4) vs. Mike Easton (13-1)
