Eastern Washington's drive for another football national championship continues on Saturday, as the Eagles host Illinois St. for a spot in the semifinals of the FCS playoffs. Eastern Washington, the tournament's No. 2 seed, is 10-2 on the season, the losses coming by a combined seven points at FBS school Washington St. and at Southern Utah. EWU was the co-champion of the Big Sky this season. Illinois St. sits at 9-3 on the season, having scored a 38-37 overtime upset at Appalachian State in the second round. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcast online on ESPN3.

The Big Sky co-champions Montana St. host Sam Houston St. on Friday night. This is the second year in a row that the two teams have met in the playoffs. Sam Houston St. defeated Montana St. last season, 49-13, en route to an appearance in the championship game.
