With a 27-24 victory over the UCLA Bruins Friday night, the Stanford Cardinal won the Pac-12 Championship Game and clinched a berth in the Rose Bowl.

Stanford trailed, 14-7, after one quarter, and the Cardinal faced a 24-17 deficit entering the fourth. Kevin Hogan pulled Stanford level with 12:30 remaining by throwing a 26-yard touchdown pass to Drew Terrell. With 7:00 left in the game, Jordan Williamson kicked what proved to be the game-winning field goal. The Bruins had a chance to tie late, but Ka'imi Fairbairn missed a 51-yard attempt with 44 seconds left.

Stanford advanced to the Pac-12 Championship Game after winning the North Division. The Cardinal tied with Oregon atop the standings, but a 17-14 win over the Ducks on Nov. 17 gave Stanford the head-to-head tiebreaker advantage. Oregon State and Washington finished with winning records in the North, and California and Washington State rounded out the division.

In the South, UCLA ended the season a game ahead of USC and Arizona State. Arizona, Utah and Colorado finished fourth, fifth and sixth.
