Fantasy Football 2012: Sidney Rice a solid play in Week 15

With the Fantasy Football playoffs upon us, should Sidney Rice be in your lineup? We examine.

USA TODAY Sports

The Fantasy Football season is winding down, and there's a good chance at least one of your teams in still in the playoff hunt. If Sidney Rice is one of your players, there's a solid chance he's received a handful of starts over the year. Should that be the case yet again in Week 15? Probably.

Rice began the week dealing with a foot injury, although it appears that will not slow him down on Sunday. He was listed as probable by the Seahawks coaching staff, and he's been able to practice without limitations the past couple of days.

With the Seahawks hitting the road, it's tough to know what kind of offensive production there will be. Fortunately for you Rice owners, he will be going up against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills rank 22nd in the NFL against the pass, and they've dropped five of their last seven games. Rice has averaged a little more than 10 points a week since Week 8, and while he likely won't go off for 25+ points, he's a safe, reliable option.

Unless your roster is stacked, Rice seems to be a very solid No. 2 WR or flex play this weekend.
