College GameDay Picks: Lee Corso picks Oregon over USC, Alabama to beat LSU

Breaking down the College GameDay crew's picks from Saturday morning.

This weekend's slate of college football action might be the best of the season. There are many conference battles with huge implications on the national title chase, including Oregon's showdown with USC and Alabama's trip to LSU.

The College GameDay crew made their picks for all of today's big games earlier this morning. Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit made their picks as usual, and U.S. track star Lolo Jones was the celebrity guest.

All three like the Oregon Ducks to beat the Trojans tonight in Los Angeles. Herbstreit focused on UO's speed and how they would wear down USC over the course of a long game. You'll find this Pac-12 showdown on FOX at 4 p.m. PT.

As for Alabama versus LSU, Jones, an alum of LSU, not surprisingly picked the Tigers. Herbstreit and Corso both like the Tide to roll, the latter of which led the crowd in the singing of "Sweet Home Alabama." This game is set for 5 p.m. PT on CBS.

The other big game features No. 24 Oklahoma State visiting No. 2 Kansas State. Corso and Jones like the Wildcats to win, while Herbstreit can't pick since he's calling the game.

Oregon State lost for the first time last weekend and welcome in the Arizona St. Sun Devils to town at 7:30 p.m. All three picked the Beavers to win, and Herbstreit thinks the home crowd will be the difference.
