Seahawks vs. Dolphins injury report: James Carpenter returns

OL James Carpenter was cleared to practice after passing concussion tests.

The Seattle Seahawks received good news on Wednesday when OG James Carpenter was cleared to return to practice after missing time with a concussion. Carpenter was a limited participant on Wednesday.

The bye week came at an opportune time for the Seahawks, as several other players who had been banged up were all able to get healthy. K.J. Wright (concussion), Greg Scruggs (oblique), Clinton McDonald (groin), Byron Maxwell (hamstring), and Marshawn Lynch (back) were all full participants according to the team's injury report.

The Seahawks are 6-4 and take to the road to face the Miami Dolphins this Sunday, and will no doubt welcome the return of starters Wright and Carpenter to the lineup as they march towards a possible second playoff berth in three seasons under Pete Carroll.

Of note, it is unclear how much Carpenter will play this week, however, even if he doesn't regain his starting position, he will provide added depth to the offensive line.
