The Seahawks lead the Panthers 13-10 after three quarters of play from Carolina. The quarter was highlighted by turnovers, including a fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half.
The Panthers defense gave them the lead early in the third quarter when Captain Munnerlyn returned an interception 33 yards for a touchdown. The touchdown was Carolina's first of the game, and put them ahead 10-6.
Seattle would retake the lead when Russell Wilson found Golden Tate for the first touchdown that either offense would score. Wilson hit Tate in stride over the middle for the 13-yard score, capping the 27 yard scoring drive. Seattle started that drive in great field position after the defense recovered a DeAngelo Williams fumble.
