After allowing Oregon to score 21 unanswered points in the first quarter, the Washington Huskies were able to finally get on the board at the beginning of the second on a one-yard Bishop Sankey run into the endzone. After a successful extra point by Travis Coons, the Huskies would be down only two possessions with the rest of the second to go. Yet that would be the end of the scoring for Washington, as Oregon went on to score 14 points, leaving the Ducks with a 35-7 lead at the half.
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota struggled through the first quarter, but managed to find his stride in the second. At halftime, he's 10-for-18 for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Mariota has also carried the ball five times for 13 yards.
Meanwhile, Huskies quarterback Keith Price is 13-for-22 for 116 yards, but threw an interception to Oregon's Avery Patterson that became a pick-six. Price is favoring the run-game, handing off the ball to Sankey 14 times for 68 yards and the Huskies' lone touchdown.
