Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant returned to practice in a limited basis Friday and is being called a game-time decision, according to the Seattle Times' Danny O'Neil.
Trufant sat during Wednesday and Thursday's practices with a back injury but made it through practice Friday without a setback. He's being listed as questionable which means he has 50% chance to play.
If Trufant isn't healthy enough to go, Danny Gorrer or Byron Maxwell would start in is place. Luckily for the Seahawks, the Carolina Panthers don't utilize their slot receivers much so Trufant's absence shouldn't be too costly at the nickel back position.
Trufant would mostly match up against TE Greg Olsen and WR Brandon LaFell if he's active for Week 5. The 10-year veteran has seven tackles on the season but has struggled in between Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner by most accounts.
In other injury news, RB Marshawn Lynch (rest) and DT Brandon Mebane (calf) are both probable and expected to play without restrictions Sunday against the Panthers.
