While the lopsided win was all well and good for the Oregon Ducks against Colorado, the injuries suffered are a concern heading into an anticipated matchup with the USC Trojans this week.
As they've done many times this season, the Ducks blew out their opponent 70-14. It's no surprise then that Oregon ranks first in the FBS in points scored per game with 53.4. However, the multiple injuries kept the day from being ideal, according to Addicted To Quack.
Defensive tackle Wade Keliikipi left with a leg injury after a chop block and didn't return to the game. Defensive end Dion Jordan also left the contest with a shoulder injury. The two players are key to the defense with a total of 36 tackles and seven sacks between them in eight games this season.
Oregon and USC will square off on Saturday night in a battle of two first-place teams in their respective Pac-12 divisions.
