Joe Nicholson-US PRESSWIRE

There are plenty of big time matchups in Week 8 of the 2012 NFL season. Let's take a look at the TV schedule for the Seattle area. All information courtesy of The506.com.

FOX Early Game: The hometown Seattle Seahawks travel to Detroit to take on the Lions at 10 a.m. PT. The Seahawks are 4-3 this season, although all their losses have come on the road. The Lions have struggled a bit after breaking out last season, especially on offense with Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson. Chris Myers and Tim Ryan are the announcers.

FOX Late Game: The Cowboys and Giants meet at 1:25 p.m. PT. These two teams met in the season opener, and it was Dallas who won behind a big night from Tony Romo. Thom Brennaman and Troy Aikman are calling the action.

CBS: The Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs meet at 1:05 p.m. PT on CBS. Both teams have struggled this season, although the Raiders have shown signs of improvement in recent weeks. Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots are in the booth for this one.

Sunday Night Football: The Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints meet in primetime at 5:20 p.m. PT on NBC. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees should have no problem putting up points against two defenses that have struggled this season. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are the announcers for this one.
