College football rankings, week 9: Oregon and Oregon State remain in top 10 of AP Poll

Oregon remains at No. 2 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll while the Oregon State Beavers move up one spot to No. 7.

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers sit at No. 2 and No. 7 respectively in the newest installment of the AP Top 25 Poll.

The Ducks earned a 43-21 blowout victory over the Arizona State Sun Devils on Thursday night. The Sun Devils entered that game in first place in the Pac-12 South.

Oregon State, meanwhile, defeated the Utah Utes in a defensive battle by a final score of 21-7. They will face off against the Washington Huskies next week.

Two other Pac-12 teams are ranked in the latest poll--USC at No. 10 after a 50-6 win over the Colorado Buffaloes, and Stanford at No. 19 following their victory over the Cal Golden Bears.
