NCAA Football Rankings, Week 9: Oregon State climbs two spots to No. 9 in latest Coaches Poll

Oregon State continues to rise in the USA Today Coaches Poll, while Oregon remains at No. 2.

As the ranks of the undefeated continue to shrink, the Oregon State Beavers continue to climb in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll. The Beavers land at No. 9 this week in the poll, which accounts for a third of the BCS formula.

The Beavers, which landed at No. 8 in the first BCS rankings despite their No. 11 spot in last weekend's Coaches' Poll, are now in the top 10. They remain just the sixth-highest ranked undefeated team, and continue to trail three one-loss squads, including fellow Pac-12 combatant, the USC Trojans.

The Oregon Ducks are a steady No. 2, but did lose a significant amount of vote support, as both the Kansas State Wildcats and Florida Gators gained votes after big victories over the weekend. Oregon topped the Arizona State Sun Devils on Thursday.

Here's the entire Coaches Poll top 25:
