The Washington Huskies head into the half trailing the Arizona Wildcats 31-17.
After combining to score 13 points in the first quarter, the Huskies and Wildcats put up 35 in the second. It was all Arizona quarterback Matt Scott, as he threw for two more touchdown passes and ran for another. Both TD passes were long completions, as he hit Garic Wharton for a 33-yard strike and followed it up with a 53-yard score to Austin Hill.
Huskies quarterback Keith Price threw his first touchdown pass of the game, a six-yard score to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, capping a 75-yard drive.
Washington’s other score of the quarter came on a one-yard touchdown run by Bishop Sankey. It was set up by an interception by Scott that was returned to the Arizona three-yard-line by Travis Freeney.
Both quarterbacks enter the half with an interception, while Scott has three touchdown passes to Price’s one.
