The Oregon Ducks will look to remain undefeated this week as they take on their toughest foe of the season. On Thursday night, UO will make the trip into the Arizona deserts to take on the Arizona St. Sun Devils.
ASU is 5-1 this season, although their schedule has been rather easy up until this point. Quarterback Taylor Kelly has surpassed all expectations in his first season as the starter, while Arizona State's defense is the best in the Pac-12 in terms of points allowed. Oregon will be the Devils' first and toughest challenge this year.
As for the Ducks, their high-flying offense seems to work wherever they go. While the Sun Devils have solid defensive numbers across the board, they are yet to see the speed and elusiveness that DeAnthony Thomas, Kenjon Barner and Co. bring with them. It'll be an interesting battle between two teams which have lost just one game in 2012.
Game time, TV channel: 9 p.m. ET, ESPN
Point spread: Oregon opened as 12-point favorites. The line has since dropped to 9 1/2 points.
