The Oregon State Beavers rose two spots in this week's edition of SB Nation's BlogPoll, and now find themselves at No. 8 in the rankings. The in-state rival Oregon Ducks remain at No. 2 this week, despite appearing as No. 3 in the initial BCS standings.
OSU was as high as No. 2 on one ballot, and No. 3 on two others. The Beavers were placed in the top 10 by 55 voters, with No. 6 being the most common spot. The lowest vote Oregon State received was at No. 22.
Oregon garnered three first-place votes in the tally. All but one balloter had the Ducks in the top 10, with the one outlier placing them at a surprising No. 19.
Two other Pac-12 teams made their way into the rankings, with USC showing up at No. 12 and Stanford appearing at No. 22.
The Ducks put their ranking on the line this Thursday when they travel to Tempe to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils. Oregon State hosts the Utah Utes on Saturday.
