Seahawks vs. Patriots score update: Seattle trails New England 17-10 at halftime

The Seattle Seahawks trail the New England Patriots at halftime by a score of 17-10.

After taking a 10-7 first quarter lead, the Seahawks' offense was unable to sustain a scoring drive to maintain their advantage.

The Patriots went up 14-10 following a lengthy 15 play, 80 yard drive resulting in a one yard touchdown pass to tight end Aaron Hernandez.

On the next Seattle possession, the Seahawks advanced into New England territory before quarterback Russell Wilson fumbled and gave the ball back to the Patriots.

The Patriots took advantage of the turnover, putting up three more points on a 25-yard field goal by kicker Stephen Gostkowski.

Despite a fumble, Russell Wilson still put together an impressive half with 155 yards and a touchdown on 9 of 12 passing. Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch has yet to assert himself, accumulating 26 yards on nine carries.

Tom Brady continues to put up big numbers, with 216 yards and two touchdowns on 21 of 30 attempts.
